CLE: Pill and Pharmaceutical Abuse

FALSD joins La Raza Lawyers of San Diego and Pettit Kohn Ingrassia & Lutz to host a CLE program on Pill and Pharmaceutical Abuse with guest speaker, Deputy D.A. Ann Barber on July 12 at Pettit Kohn Ingrassia & Lutz, 11622 El Camino Real, Suite 300. Light appetizers and networking from 5:00-5:30 p.m., CLE from 5:30-7:00 p.m. This presentation is approved for 1.00 credit hour in the area of Substance Abuse/Mental Illness. Thanks to all of you who attended FALSD’s 1st annual Wine Tasting event to benefit our scholarship program. The event was held at Wine Steals in Hillcrest. Judges, Lawyers, Law Students and some of our closest friends all had a great time. FALSD Congratulates Judge Denny Chin

Judge Denny Chin was confirmed as the first Asian Pacific American federal appellate court judge outside of the Ninth Circuit, and only the fifth overall in U.S. history. It has been over five years since an Asian Pacific American has served anywhere in the country as an active federal appellate court judge. Judge Chin is the first Asian Pacific American to have been nominated to serve on a federal appellate court in 14 years.
