FALSD Scholarships
APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 11, 2009 postmark or email received date. No extensions will be granted. No exceptions.
The Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego and Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego will grant at least four scholarships to eligible individuals to take the California State Bar examination in February 2010 or July 2010. The scholarship amount will assist in covering the cost of the Bar Exam.
Eligible individuals must:
- Meet the requirements for taking and will be taking the California State Bar exam given in February 2010 or July 2010; and
- Currently attend or recently graduated from any accredited law school in San Diego County.
Selection factors include but are not limited to:
- Financial need
- Scholastic/academic standing; and
- Past, current or future public service to the Asian/Pacific Islander community and other diverse communities.
Scholarship recipients will be honored at the 2010 Annual Dinner. Scholarship recipients MUST attend the Thursday, January 28, 2010 Annual Dinner to receive the scholarship.
